From October 10th to 20th, 2023, a training program for novice monks in preparation for their examinations, organized by the Sangha (Buddhist monastic community), was conducted in Ban Phaeo District. Phra Thephasakkhon Muni T. P. Chaiyan, the abbot of Wat Chaiyan 14, served as the chairman, presiding over the opening ceremony and delivering lectures.

On Monday, August 28, 2023, a meeting of the Sangha Council at the level of abbots, deputy abbots, assistant abbots, secretaries, and ecclesiastical officials was held in the jurisdiction of the monastic community of Samut Sakhon province. This meeting was in accordance with the resolutions of the Great Theravada Council No. 143/2546 at Wat Laksri Samosorn, Yakkrabat Sub-District, Ban Phaeo District, Samut Sakhon Province.
